chenille-microfiber-wash-mitt
Chenille Microfiber Wash Mitt

A chenille microfiber wash mitt is designed for hand-washing accessible exterior body panels. Its textured surface carries wash solution as you move across a door, hood or other broad area. The hand-worn format gives you control over the path of each stroke, especially around gentle curves. It is a washing accessory, not a polishing pad or a tool for removing bonded contamination.

Rinse the vehicle first to remove loose dirt. Wet the mitt with a suitable car-wash solution and glide it across a small section using light pressure. Rinse the mitt often so collected grit does not remain in the fibers. Start with cleaner upper panels and leave heavily soiled lower areas until later, or use a separate wash accessory for those sections. Rinse the vehicle before the wash solution dries. Before using the mitt, rinse the vehicle to remove loose grit and inspect the fibers for trapped debris. Wash one section at a time with a suitable car shampoo, rinsing the mitt frequently. Afterward, clean and dry it according to its care instructions before storing.

No wash mitt can guarantee a scratch-free result on every paint finish. Embedded grit, unsuitable chemicals and excessive pressure can all affect the surface. Avoid using the mitt dry on dusty paint, and do not move it directly from wheels or tires to body panels. If the vehicle has a delicate coating or unusual finish, follow the finish manufacturer guidance before contact washing.

After washing, clean the mitt according to its care instructions and check the chenille strands for trapped particles. Let it dry fully before storage and keep it away from greasy workshop materials. Review the Pack Size option for the quantity supplied. Before the next wash, inspect the pile for trapped grit and replace the mitt if the fibers become worn or difficult to clean.

Product details

Fabric construction: Chenille-style microfiber wash mitt with soft pile for lifting wash solution and loose soil.

Available quantities: 1, 2 or 3 units.

Application: Hand washing suitable exterior vehicle panels after a thorough pre-rinse.

Care: Rinse frequently during use; remove grit and launder separately from rough items or hook-and-loop fasteners.

Product Dimensions: Size measurements: 16 × 22 cm (6.3 × 8.7 in); 20 × 28 cm (8 × 11 in).
